White chocolate basically consists of: cocoa butter, milk powder and sugar. A cocoa bean consists of 52 - 58% of cocoa butter, depending on the type of bean. Therefore, in our eyes, white chocolate is real chocolate. According to the Commodities Act Decree on cocoa and chocolate, white chocolate must contain a minimum of 20% of cocoa butter.
