Shipments within the Netherlands and EU
Based in the Netherlands, Chocolate Girls also ships to the following countries within the EU: Belgium, Germany, Denmark, France, Luxembourg, Poland, Austria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Monaco, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Bulgaria, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, Spain and Croatia.
When will my chocolate be shipped?
Shipping within the Netherlands
As standard, we send the chocolate by letterbox parcel withÂ
Tour de Ville bicycle couriers. You do not have to stay at home for this. If the shipment is too large, we will send it by parcel post. Both letterbox packages and parcel post are delivered throughout the Netherlands from Monday to Saturday.
Shipping within the EU
We ship with PostNL or Tour de Ville. The delivery time is normally 2-3 days. After your order has been processed and is ready for shipment, you will receive an email notification with the scheduled delivery date and a Track & Trace code. Place your order and choose your courier to calculate your shipping rate. Our minimum order value is € 15.
Ordered before 14.00
Do you order Monday to Friday before 14:00? Then the parcel will be sent the same day by Tour de Ville or PostNL. Immediately after this, you will receive a track-and-trace number so you can follow your parcel. In principle, you will receive your parcel the next day.
Ordered after 14:00
No problem, your order will be packed and transferred to Tour de Ville or POstNL the next day. Immediately after this you will receive a track-and-trace number, and you will be able to follow your parcel. You will receive your package, in principle, within 2 days within the Netherlands, in other countries 2 to 3 days depending on the carrier.
Friday after 14:00 or ordered at the weekend
The first thing we do on Monday is pack your parcel and hand it over to Tour de Ville.
You will receive a track-and-trace number from us so you can track your parcel. You will receive your parcel, in principle, on Tuesday.
Shipping gifts
Have you bought a chocolate package as a birthday or anniversary present? Would you like this to be delivered on a specific date please mention this when checking out your order.
Hot weather shipments
We ship chocolate at temperatures up to 24 °C. Before shipping, we check the weather forecast at our location, the destination and locations along the route (if known). But feel free to place your order in advance and as soon as the temperature drops below 24 °C, we will ship your chocolate. To avoid the risk of packages being stored in the carrier's warehouse over the weekend, we ship packages Monday to Wednesday, depending on the expected transit time.
