Shipments within the Netherlands and EU

Based in the Netherlands, Chocolate Girls also ships to the following countries within the EU: Belgium, Germany, Denmark, France, Luxembourg, Poland, Austria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Monaco, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Bulgaria, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, Spain and Croatia.

When will my chocolate be shipped?

Shipping within the Netherlands

We send our chocolate by letterbox parcel with Tour de Ville bicycle couriers as standard. No need to stay at home for this. If the shipment is too large, we will send it by parcel post. Both letterbox packages and parcel post are delivered throughout the Netherlands from Monday to Saturday.

The delivery time is normally 3-4 working days. After your order has been processed and is ready for shipment, you will receive an email notification with the scheduled delivery date and a Track & Trace code. Our minimum order value is € 15

Ordering during the week.

Orders placed from Monday to Friday will be packed and transferred to Tour de Ville the next day. Immediately after this you will receive a Track & Trace number, with which you can track your parcel. Within the Netherlands you will receive the parcel in principle within 3 days; in other countries the delivery time depends on the chosen courier and their local delivery times.

Ordered at the weekend

Orders placed over the weekend will be packed on Monday (or the next working day if Monday is a holiday). You will then receive a Track & Trace number so you can track your parcel. We will make sure your order is delivered as soon as possible.

Shipping gifts

Have you bought a chocolate package as a birthday or anniversary present? Would you like this to be delivered on a specific date please mention this when checking out your order.

Hot weather shipments

We ship chocolate only when the temperature is up to 24 °C. Before shipping, we check the weather forecast at our location, the destination and at locations along the route (if known). If the temperature remains above 24 °C, your order will be held until the weather is suitable for shipping. If you do not wish to wait, please contact us to cancel your order or discuss an alternative. To avoid packages remaining with the carrier over the weekend, we ship orders from Monday to Wednesday, depending on the expected transit time.
